Morning/evening yoga and meditation sessions are suitable for all levels. Evening programs include dharma talks with John Travis, dream study with Debra Quayle, MFT, a night of improvisational humor, and a Mexican dance and culture show.

Insight Meditation is a 2,500 year-old Buddhist practice that fosters deep relaxation, heightened awareness, and clarity of thought.

Yoga, which dates back even further was developed to unite body, mind and spirit to enhance wholeness and well-being.

Punta Serena

Punta Serena is a splendid holistic retreat center on the bluffs of Tenacatita Bay, on Mexico's beautiful west coast. The wide open skies, soothing rhythm of the sea, and the sounds of exotic birds create a natural sanctuary for peace and inspiration.

Instructors

Instructor JOHN TRAVIS has been teaching meditation for over ten years, and leads retreats in the USA and Mexico. He is the founding teacher of Mountain Stream Meditation Center in Nevada City, CA, and is a senior teacher for Spirit Rock Center, a Buddhist retreat facility in Marin County, CA.

John's meditation experience spans nearly 3 decades, with many years spent in Asia studying with both Tibetan and Theravidin teachers. He completed a four year teacher training with Jack Kornfield and has a private practice of meditation facilitation and pastoral counseling.

JIM GALLAS, certified yoga instructor, has led numerous informative and fun workshops in the US, Mexico, and New Zealand. He has taught on-going classes for over ten years, is a longtime staff member of Twin Lakes College, Santa Cruz, and has been a guest instructor at Esalen Institute. Jim also teaches Shiatsu massage, anatomy and Chi Kung, is a photographer and a member of a theatre improv troupe..
